Open House Held to Unveil Electric Mobility Victory (EMV) Bus Design

HAWTHORNE, NY (September 5, 2007) - An Open House was held on September 5, 2007 at Reveo Headquarters and our eVionyx facility. eVionyx revealed its design for the Electric Mobility Vehicle (EMV) bus to potential sponsors of this project. The EMV event is intended to demonstrate and unprecedented dlectric bus capable of refuelability after 375 miles using zinc-air cells and an endurance in excess of 10,000 miles. This project is planned in collaboration with Electric Mobility Canada.

Reveo's innovative ultra-fast DNA sequencer has been approved to enter the X-PRIZE competition

ELMSFORD, NY (May 1, 2007) - Reveo, Inc. announces its entry in the $10M Archon X PRIZE competition. This prize, which is the largest medical prize in history, will be awarded to the first team that can develop a tool that is able to sequence 100 human genomes in 10 days, costing no more than $10,000 per genome with 99.999% accuracy.

Reveo, Inc. Develops Knife Edges for DNA Sequencing Project

ELMSFORD, NY (March 20, 2007) - Reveo has now developed proprietary fabrication techniques to create atomically sharp nano-knife edge blades for use as detectors in the OmniMoRA. Reveo has also developed proprietary concepts that enable them to tailor the shape and slope of the nano-knife edge blades and transfer the nano-knife edge blades from one solid surface to another. The impact of these discoveries (inventions) is far-reaching – well beyond the scope of the OmniMoRA instrument.

eVionyx Awarded SBIR Project

HAWTHORNE, NY (March 20, 2007) - eVionyx, a subsidiary of Reveo, Inc. has received a SBIR award from the Department of the Navy to develop a high-energy Zinc-Air fuel cell hybridized with a high-power Nickel/Zinc Battery as an affordable alternative power supply for UPS systems. This alternative power supply system is intended to extend operational durability and reduce lifecycle maintenance compared to their current lead-acid battery UPS systems.
