HAWTHORNE, NY (March 20, 2007) - eVionyx, a subsidiary of Reveo, Inc. has received a SBIR award from the Department of the Navy to develop a high-energy Zinc-Air fuel cell hybridized with a high-power Nickel/Zinc Battery as an affordable alternative power supply for UPS systems. This alternative power supply system is intended to extend operational durability and reduce lifecycle maintenance compared to their current lead-acid battery UPS systems.

eVionyx Awarded USDA Project
HAWTHORNE, NY (March 20, 2007) - The overall goal of this project is to develop a novel electrochemical approach of lignocellulose material destruction and delignfication to produce a safe, efficient, and inexpensive method to obtain highly digestible feedstuff from the lignocellulose materials.
Congresswoman Lowey visits Reveo to congratulate getting $100K grant for better battery.
HAWTHORNE, NY (May 28, 2004) - eVionyx, a subsidiary of Elmsford-based Reveo Inc. has received a $100,000 federal grant to help develop next-generation hybrid automobile batteries with an eye toward reducing dependency on conventional gasoline engines.
The Department of Energy grant is for the development of a type of lithium-ion battery, better suited to demanding uses, such as electric and hybrid vehicles.
"The technology is vital to decreasing the need for petroleum in our country," said Nita Lowey, D-Harrison.
Reveo Laboratories has been awarded a contract from DARPA entitled, "MFT Multi-Fillo Layer Technology"
May 20, 2003 (Elmsford, NY) - Reveo Laboratories has been awarded a contract from DARPA entitled, "MFT Multi-Fillo Layer Technology." This is to be the first phase of a multi-phased program to develop Reveo’s invention of a set of processes and techniques that allow for very dense packing of silicon-based devices and structures. These processes and techniques are collectively called Multi Filo-layer Technology or MFT.
